Arens Services is a family-owned business that has been providing top-notch towing, hauling, and recovery services to our customers for over four decades. We understand the value of experience and take pride in the fact that we have been passing down our knowledge and expertise from generation to generation. Our founder, Greg Arens, started the business in 1978, as Arens Wrecker Services. Being the son of a gas station owner, Greg has been around the automotive industry almost his entire life and the progression to starting a towing business in his home county, Waller County was only natural. In the early 80's as his company's services expanded to include hauling and heavy duty recovery, he changed the name to Arens Services. Greg has put in many long hours developing his knowledge and skills all while his son Shannon was right there by his side. In fact, some of Greg's fondest memories are of 7 year old Shannon riding in the tow truck with him.
Shannon's early start in his father's business, turned into a career. As he was growing up and his age and abilities grew, Shannon began driving the trucks and handling the calls that came in. He worked extremely hard through his high school years, learning his dad and from actually getting his hands dirty.

In the late 90's, Shannon moved to Brenham while still working for his father. Soon after moving to Brenham, Arens Services was offered the opportunity to buy out a local wrecker service. Soon after purchasing Ryan's Wrecker Service, Arens Services expanded into the Brenham, Washington County area.
Shannon has taken over the helm from his father and now runs the company. His father Greg is still active in the company and helps wherever he can.
